The Multi-purpose Hall :
The dining hall is almost falling down due to age and thereby endangering the lives of the students. Further it was also pointed out that the current state of the facility might be a recipe for the students to go on strike.
The school intends to put up a state of the art multi-purpose hall with a floor area of 1102.28 m2. Below are the approximate estimates for the project:
Approximate Estimates:  
Floor Area: 1102.28 m2  
Less 5% Circulation Area: 1102.28 * 0.05 = 55.11 m2  
Plinth Area = 1047.17 m2  
   
Approximate cost of construction :  
Current building cost per m2 = Kshs. 32,000.00  
Therefore cost = 1047.17 * 32,000 = Kshs. 33,504,000.00  
Note: Actual cost of counstruction could be lower on competitive bidding say in the range of 25 - 30m
